Slayyyter with brings back the loud club bangers to 2026 and we are for sure SHOOKED. I really love how this album has 80s electro with 00s electroslash elements, which, just hit the sweet spot. It’s really noisy but fun kind of noise. And between those party melodies and noises there are some really vulnerable lyrics too, yet, there are moments that are totally unserious. It’s really a bunch of different elements crafted together extremely well.

Robyn comes back with an excellent pop album with her iconic electro synth. The production is solid and layered with elements from body talk/self titled and honey, which, is generic but never lazy like a lot of pop nowadays. The songs are carefully crafted with infectious melodies and a lot of sound effects but never sound too crowded. Lyrically it has its high and low moments but I do find the “cringy” lyrics of the title track fun! Also the vocal effects are chief ... read more
As usual this a really solid album from mitski with a lot of well written sad lyrics. Comparing to her last album with have more indie rock elements coming back and the production is just as solid. Lyrically I can see the attempt that she tried to be more unserious but overall the songwriting turns out really confusing with a ... read more
There are a lot of True Romance elements and its really surprising! Overall its an extremely solid pop album with experimental parts and really well use of usage of strings. The productino really reminds me a lot of True Romance alt pop and its quite fresh to hear them again almost 10 years later. Other than that the opener "House" really had me with the errie atmosphere and spoken word verse. The rest lost a bit of the atmosphere but the vibe is mostly present on most of the songs ... read more
