unironically a good listen, production is hard carrying becauss vocals are still a bit of a mess (but definitely improved from her earlier work). her best release to date, it's nice that she's leaning more into the electronic sphere which feels more like her strong suit. even though still messy at times, it's not that bad.
apart from the amplified gayness of this album (happy pride month!), i'd have to say 'tilt' is pretty much a typical red velvet record. while a nice krnb listen with an absolutely groovy title track, the rest of the album falls short a little and isn't very memorable. an upgrade from monster? perhaps a little, with more refinement of how they want to sound as a duo (which isn't very detached from the classic rv concept we all know and love so well!). perhaps a few more ... read more
