A great little EP of some Lo-Fi Cloud Rap instrumentals. Perfect to play in the background on a nice summers day.
Thought the album was going to be darker considering the cover and the first 4 tracks which are actually pretty good. But unfortunately it quickly gets boring and stale afterwards with the exception of the last song.
Fly's rapping isn't anything to write home about but that really allows DJ Pauls dark and drugged out production to really shine.
Really sad that Pappy died three weeks after dropping this tape. He was such a talented and vicious MC.
A step-up from the previous LP and a pretty solid ending to the Leather trilogy.
20+ songs and over an hour in length yet maintains its consistency throughout.
An excellent collection of Death Doom Metal with a raw, dirty and evil sound.
One of the best produced Memphis tapes. DJ Big Tims sinister and hazy production does wonders.
I've tried giving this a few spins but it just doesn't do much for me. Just feels unexciting and tedious at times. And paired with production that make this sound like cardboard, I just can't seem to enjoy it as much as the majority does.
(REDUX)
I've never been a huge Travis fan, but there is an undeniable hunger and experimentation on this record that is absent on subsequent releases. The all star lineup of producers and features is insane. The album isn't perfect, but it contains of my favorite Trap songs such as Oh My Dis Side, 3500, 90210, and Nightcrawler. Even the deeper cuts such as Pornography, Impossible, and Apple Pie are incredible.
Never quite got the appeal of this album. Just feels safe and a bit boring at times to me, but it definitely has its standout moments
The music truly sounds like the album cover. A dreamy yet naturalistic scene.
Excellent collection of House tracks with fast, chopped up, and uplifting samples
Really nails that icy cold and majestic sound on this LP. It really takes you to a different world..
