This feels more peaceful than The Winter Ray, like the springtime equivalent
It's not as cold or desolate as a lot of their other music but it's still very unsettling
This album is what got me into music in the first place. I think I was in like 7th grade on a long car ride and I was like "I should check this out, I like some of the songs on here, I wonder how the whole album is"
Ever sense then I have been a huge music fan, but its becoming incredibly difficult to enjoy this album knowing the person behind it
Alec Empire could literally kill my whole family and I would still glaze him into oblivion
Sharkula has a similar mic presence to Swank Daddy and similar lyrics to someone like Wesley Willis, which make this album unpredictable and wild, while also being extremely fun
Some Rap Songs is a really neat collection of, as the title suggests, rap songs
It's music like this that gives furries and the LGBTQ+ community a bad reputation. People hate on those groups because they think all the people in those communities are as weird as the person who made this EP. Even ignoring that though, this is a borderline zoophilic confession backed up with bad music.
Holy shit this is the most relentless album I think I've ever heard, it was like being beat with a metal club covered in spikes and bodily fluids
After the (very mild) dissapointment from leaving meaning, we have something that really holds a candle to the trilogy. The Beggar is the most recent Swans album (as of right now) and it is just absolutely phenomenal
It's a very clear downgrade from the trilogy that came just before it, but Leaving Meaning is still a very worthwhile experience
This is "Paul Bjart Mall Cop"'s most acclaimed album and it's really easy to see why, it's so simple yet so beautiful and emotional
While not some masterpiece , it's impossible to dislike this album and that says a lot
