To be honest, I only got into Oklou fairly late, specifically when she dropped the single "take me by the hand" featuring Bladee. And what can I say? That track instantly caught my interest and made me want to hear more from her. So I listened to all the singles and her debut mixtape "Galore" as well, and overall, I was quite into it.
This album feels nostalgic in a very specific way, like the mid-2000s, at the end of the PS2 cycle, a year before the PS3 would come out and ... read more
It's very enjoyable, I dont think it has any huge weaknesses either, but I feel like I already heard all of this done way better across his other projects. Which also makes it even more questionable to me that Eyelash didn't make the album, even though it is easily one of his best solo songs this decade.

What really stands out is how the album moves between dreamy, colorful soundscapes and moments of pure nostalgic familiarity, ... read more
She's a hidden Peggy fan and you can’t convince me otherwise. She’s got a song with "CANCELLED!" that's literally stylized like a Peggy song and the content of the album is even cornier than anything he’s ever done.
Nah, seriously, this might be her worst album in terms of songwriting. There’s just no ambition left at all. I’m not even a hater, folklore and evermore are some of my favorite albums of the decade, even though I wouldn’t call ... read more
