Two Door Cinema Club - Tourist History
90

Went from "Oh this will be just neato indie pop" to "Oh damn this something greater".

Also shoutout to Nakinyko for bringing me here.

Slowdive - Slowdive
93

I think Fantano accidentally listened to this from a DSi's speakers.
Listened to this on a hour drive in Wisconsin at 11pm with a lighting storm. I think the score encapsulates how appropriate that was.

Also Everyone Knows is a strong contender to fight When the Sun Hits.

Stereolab - Dots and Loops
93

Earned the "Fr*nch but gets a warmful pass from demise".

Also the Rainbo Conversation instrumental version is on another level.

Muse - Black Holes and Revelations
85

The last album Muse made, sniff they'll be missed. If only they continued their legacy for the will of the people...

Gorillaz - Plastic Beach
93

Really wish I can give it higher but the Mos Def stuff makes me feel the dips in the album way more than I wished. Idk why Sweepstakes is there in the first place sandwiched between the atmospheric ethereal 2nd half.

Cut Copy - In Ghost Colours
90

I won't accept Far Away slander.

Oasis - Definitely Maybe
90

Grew on me, also why TF isn't 'Columbia' up there as the top singles?

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Flight b741
78

Embracing dad rock and it ain't shabby.

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - I'm in Your Mind Fuzz
97

Arguably between this or Nonagon Infinity as the definitive starting point for King Gizzard's discography. Captures the band's amazing range from bombastic riffing metal to sweet and chill AF lounge rock.

Tobu - Candyland
60

The low quality version is now the official version.

Alan Walker - Faded

Literally neutral on this. Just average EDM with very meh female vocals exhausted to no end with how much of a zeitgeist it was for Roblox and Minecraft as intro/BGM music. Obviously those people's nostalgia just like with 009 Sound Sytem for the previous generation. But you can tell which one I prefer of the times.

Chappell Roan - The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess
83

The person who composed the Mario Paint Composer covers of Charli XCX - Brat recommended this. Not shabby and admittedly the beat type ones are distinctly over the slower ones.

Beach House - Depression Cherry
95

Its more than just damn Space Song.

LCD Soundsystem - This Is Happening
95

I have to purposely listen to 'All I Want' through a trash speaker to not get caught up. Absolutely jaw-dropping phenomenal song.

Also yeah the score is down because of well 'Somebody's Calling Me'.

87

Where de dog at?

Jeff Buckley - Grace
94

Ain't no one grabbing the mic to match this absolute vocal performance.

KSI - Thick of It / Low
25

Just mediocre honestly, I'm not in the thick of the drama and whatever is warranting such a low score. Just very bleh.
