Not a whole lot to say about this album, to be honest. After listening to Romance at the start of last year, it didn't really click with me until October. Wow, I'm behind on reviews. I listened to this album a couple weeks ago, and it's probably the most inconsistent album I've ever listened to. It suffers from the issue that a lot of EDM suffers from, where either the beats are incredible, or they're god awful. Not saying Ninajirachi herself did a bad job producing this, because it's produced very well, but for me, it's very easy to mess up EDM, and a couple of the songs here do that. mehhhh it's so aggressively average. That's the best way to describe this album. The first half has some promise, with songs like abyss & oyster being fun and catchy, but it loses me by the 2nd half. The songs have no progression, while also being a bit too basic-sounding. This album really just bored me, however there's a lot of potential here. This album really surprised me, honestly. The song that inspired me to listen to it was Where I Go, and I expected the album as a whole to be good but nothing particularly impressive or memorable. Boy, was I wrong. MADRA doesn't necessarily do anything life-changing, but it's just a really fun yet emotional listen.
