The bible of hyperpop, a transcendental album that takes you to another universe—super galactic, colorful, futuristic, brilliant, industrial. I love how varied the songs are; they're very intelligent, the way they're constructed. To think she did it all alone seems incredibly legendary. It's beautiful, raw, all at once—an electronic interstellar journey. A perfect album, I have no complaints. Rest in peace, Sophie. We will always have you in our hearts. 😩🫶💜
THIS IS SO PERFECT ALBUM OMG SO FUN AND SWEET AND CUTE ASF I LOVE IT SO MUCH
A very good and necessary follow-up after the depressing nature of their previous two works, this mixtape is very bright and fun, full of light and positivity. It's beautiful how it pays homage to their roots with a more commercial and less experimental sound. A work that deserves more love, as this is well-made and quite enjoyable commercial music.
I'm not a fan of breakup albums, but this is one of the best I've heard. The sound is more art pop/baroque and reminds me quite a bit of Kate Bush and Tori Amos at times, with its incredibly experimental production. Here, she takes everything to another level and does a perfect job. The second half totally steals the show, and the lyrics on "Daybed" are undoubtedly my favorites of her entire career.
Her saddest and most depressing album, the lyrics are pure poetry, incredible vocals, very soft but beautiful, that never get boring. Musically It's her most experimental and difficult album to listen to, but with time you appreciate it more and more until you love it very much. It's very interesting how the songs deconstruct and transform. It's a very strong debut that makes it clear that FKA Twigs is here to stay.
A very versatile and fun album, full of variety in its production; it reminded me a lot of Janet Jackson.
This album is very futuristic, late-90s electronic, which I love. It's a huge change from their debut, which was more pop-rock where everything sounded the same. This one is very varied in sound but cohesive. Even so, I enjoyed it a lot until the last two songs, which ruined it from being a 10. "Whatever" should have been the last song because of how long and trippy it is. But anyway, it's a pretty solid album. The first half is perfect; I loved it a lot, and the second half ... read more
This album is beautiful, what a lovely thing the electronic instrumentals blending with Art Pop and Trip Hop electronica is, it's the best, an unparalleled combination, I truly loved every second of this album
A pretty forgettable trip hop album, very unmemorable, I don't remember anything I heard, I didn't like it
A fairly generic pop-rock album, it's not bad but it falls short of the previous two. It's okay, not bad at all; it's a new, more rock-oriented sound, different from the previous ones but without completely abandoning the pop element.
The title says it all: pop perfection, very well executed, cohesive, good, very cute and romantic, a bit cloying, I like it
I love how unapologetically black-centric, and soulful this sounds in the songwriting and production. Her voice it’s amazing i love and she flows really with such a colorful personality throughout the album. she's one of the greatest vocalists of all time
Sinner Get Ready manages to be unsettling, intense, spiritual and beautiful —sometimes all within the same song — and does it spectacularly. It might not be as terrifying as Caligula was, but it is an immaculately crafted record that will leave you feeling speechless afterwards.
