My first contribution to the site and an album I hold pretty close to me as my Step-Dad provides vocals in many tracks whilst playing the bass for the album. I tried to keep my rating unbiased but even with my effort it probably still is extremely bloated. Zappa being from Baltimore makes sense of alot of things. As per usual this album was Zany and Instrumentally phenomenal. it's goofy prog rock approach is displayed through the 9 tracks in varying lengths and songs such as Po-Jama people that get stuck in your head
I loved this but I'm not sure if it was my lack of sleep but many sections seemed to repeat for just a little too long to the point my ears started to ache a little
Some wacky ass drums on this but not enough technically different guitar work than alot of math rock
New Day is the most Tool sounding Non-Tool song I've ever heard. if you told me this was a hidden track on something like 10,000 days I'd believe you. Karnivool in Manchester is going to be Awesome
