Disco denso di stili.. hip hop ,drill, trap e naturalmente grime.
Produzione della madonna, sono stato indeciso fino all'ultimo sul voto.

Gran bel dischetto in cui Prince collide con la new wave in un universo che è comunque quello Warp. Ma ci sono anche riferimenti psych, glam e naturalmente soul.

Una sintesi tra musiche africane e caraibiche, free jazz , musica colta.

Prendete del modern funk, una manciata di noir fumoso, del jazz, psichedelico a la Sun Ra, musique concrète qunto basta, un goccio di Hip Hop e il fantasma dei Can a mescolare il calderone.
Disco denso, interessante e molto bello!

Alcuni momenti di autentica bellezza, ma non capisco chi lo indica come album dell'anno.

Un altro disco meraviglioso di (realmente) modern jazz di McCraven.

Uno straordinario album di un musicista (anche questo) scoperto grazie alla compilation Kaleidoscope.

McCraven factotum del progetto è un giovane batterista franco-ungherese figlio di un a sua volta batterista e di una cantante folk.

Quasi 48 ore di improvvisazioni eseguite in 28 live, registrate - analizzate , tagliate , ricucite, fuse , con l'aggiunta di sporadiche sovraincisioni. Il risultato sono diciannove potentissimi brani che vanno a formare un vero gioiello!

Un'altra bella scoperta via Kaleidoscope.

Lavoro originariamente autoprodotto e diventato oggetto di culto. Acerbo ma gustoso esperimento di fusione malata groovy tra brass band e psycho jazz .

Disco che soddisferà i nostalgici degli Husker Du. Certi suoni in effetti grondano di rimembranza...

Suite in tre parti. creata dalla manipolazioni di 99 pezzi inviati da 99 amici. Un'operazione interessante, eseguita con la consueta maestria, ma che rischia di essere un po' fine a sé stessa.

The mushrooms helped me to listen somatically, pulling my ears towards low tonal patterns and the warped sounds of a broken Mellotron I had recorded earlier.
