black midi - Schlagenheim
NR

Finally starting my black midi journey and it's surprisingly hard to put into words.
I am faced with a dissonance between the metallic, dynamic instrumentals and the accessorizing vocals, but not in a negative sense. I am, rather, left in slight awe, in curiosity. It's like looking through a portal. Certainly one of a kind listening experience, can't wait for what's next!

Swans - White Light from the Mouth of Infinity
NR

A significant upgrade from Children of God, through its gothier, folk sound achieving a much better "cinematic" soundscape. The mixture of lightness and somberness on a grandiose fond turns out to be rather beautiful. Enjoyed this one quite a bit!

Swans - Children of God
