I know this whole album is supposed to be suicidal thoughts and ideation, but something with the first 4 makes it seem like more like "yeah, im so cool a edgy, see how i talk about suicide?" rather than what I think the album was supposed to be like. Common Ground carries the entire album because that song is sooooo good.
There is no joke I can make, it was just that fucking good. Shout out trans people
Not my type of genre, but I have to give credit where credit is due, To Walk On Water was beautiful and such a fitting name for the song. To Walk On Water as a phrase feels like taking a risk, steppig on water that you know won't hold you up and just plunge you into the deep end, by the song showing that even though the risk is scary, sometimes it is ultimately worth it
4 songs about a girl struggling to love again after her ex boyfriend broke up with her and a guy who has been head over heels waiting to get together with her. idk, i like how it sounded. very retro (that is def the wrong word but fuck it we ball)
i didnt care about the sound that much, but the sheer amount of tramua this guy went through made me feel like I was hearing a soap opera
Very love story, very "A giiirrrllll : 333 taught me the value in chasing my dreams" vibes
Vampire was definitely the best song on this album, she has some really good lyrics on other songs but everything else feels too clean and coprate. Vampire also just feels waaayyyy more relatable I guess???? Like wym you're sad about your toxic ex but he would take you to france when he did something bad?
I get the feeling coming back from a toxic relationship, I get the anger, the sadness, and the regret you feel like you made the wrong choice by leaving. But, she adds certain things to ... read more
I understand Dead Grils was supposed to be a critique of the education system and how kids are dying in schools. But what it felt like instead was "Waaaaa, this girl died and I didn't care nor know her at all but look how sad I am!!! Look at me!!!"
I dont care what anyone says, this the perfect album. If that makes me gay, then maybe women are hot
