this is just a little bit lackluster. the 4th track is nuts because it takes the melancholy vibe this album has and adds NOISE. the rest of this album is simply too monotonous but the 4th song is cathartic.

like seadrum/house of sun, it’s obvious what stands out here. the other 2 tracks are great, but there’s such an obvious stand out. this is what Super Ae SHOULD’VE been. i almost feel guilty not scrobbling this.

this is neat. compared to VCM, this is just a bit mor batshit insane. this is both a plus and a minus. when it's fun, its the most fun ive ever had listening to an album. but when it tries too much, it becomes a slog. for example, super you and super are you are just no fun because they're too much. still cool though. the one two punch of Super Are and Super going is NUTS.

i don’t think i get this. it doesn’t feel fair giving this a score like this, but i just didn’t like it that much - the third track accomplished what i wanted to get from this exactly, but the rest was kinda overstimulating and under stimulating at the same time. all the high pitched frequencies distracted from the jazz and so i couldn’t focus on either. not too great. respect this though.

i found this on rym a while ago and then i LOST IT. i went on a journey to find it. what i did was i asked reddit, a discord server, and people on twitter what it was. someone in the server found it for me. it's peak. honestly, it had better be, considering i was losing sleep about this album.

this is honestly not too worth seeking out. since my soulseek was acting fucky, i couldn't listen to this readily and i had to do an unreasonable amount of looking for it. that being said -- it's neat. it has a little resemblance to artists like parannoul - apparently he was inspired by them. most songs on this a re pretty run of the mill - i did like em lots, but for how hard this was to find, to be honest, i expected more.

this is exactly the kind of japanese pop-rock i love. this album is similar to the other one i've heard from Kaneko in that it's main detractor is how repetitive it is. the thing that saves this album and sort of leaves the other in the dust is the more dynamic instrumentation - the more noisy components do this album WONDERS. the ending tracks as well as the first 2 tracks are standouts, especially the title track.

pretty similar to post-hiatus era swans, especially the way the last track progresses. this is much bleaker than swans though, it really does feel like a cold river. couldn’t entirely get behind the guy’s voice at all. it was mostly the accent.

GOD this is good. jane remover's definitive artistic statement up to this point. amazing guitars and lyrically really personal to the point of discomfort. it does tend to be a bit samey but this has some of her brst moments. i diodnt love lips as a single but GOD it works SO WELL HERE! this is just.. wow. holding a leech keeps it from perfection

this is NUTS! there's a lot of random noodling throughout the middle (like what even was that track that was just a guy taking a bath?) but for the most part this is some breathtaking prog with some really great noise interspersed. otomo yoshihide might be a genius.
