y'all ever see the movie Delicatessen? that's a movie that feels WET. this album? that feels wet as well. what's the difference between the two? well, there's no singing saw in The Downward Spiral, and Delicatessen actually has a happy ending. both are great pieces of media, though. i feel like trent reznor would really like that movie.

post hardcore at its finest. it's not as singular as the mars volta, but it's firing at all cylinders and cedric's lyrics are as cryptic as ever, and it's just a good project.

heard this while on the road on the way home from kansas city and i feel like this was kind of the wrong application for this album, but it’s great noisy pop bliss. so many fun songs that are easy to get lost in in a way that dots and loops didn’t have.

reminds me of fleshwater. has that same kind of enjoyable-yet-not-substantial energy that i appreciate- wouldn’t come back on often.
