Something happens when I listen to Sept. 5th, and I honestly cannot explain what it is. Outside of the first and final tracks, I feel like there's not a "classic" song, but the rest of the album is so consistently good that it doesn't really matter.
Morning After is also very good, but I don't think it holds the same weight as this one.
Very, very underrated album, and honestly my favorite Weeknd album. Just as good as his initial mixtapes with a darker sound, have no idea where the hate comes from regarding Kiss Land.
Absolute cinema. Masterpiece. Magnum Opus. Can't think of any other words to describe Blonde.
For a project with so many short tracks (I usually hate those), I was blown away by how easy it was for me to get hooked up by it. One of the best R&B projects I've ever listened to.
