For the concept and the time at which they made it, the proficiency and diversity of the tracklist highlighted by each one of the moving, haunting pieces that do not for one second mock or deviate from its source material, for the different characters, voices, points of view and sheer catchiness, I can say this is the best Argentine LP I've ever heard.
I appreciate one of his early recordings containing big influential pieces in full like the title track and Go Slow. It's nice if a little boring in the second track. It's Fela's prime but not his prime record.
Fantastic bits of instrumental ambient landscapes. Repetitive, simple note progressions that stick in your head. Longing pieces that sound so far and removed from reality they implore you to listen and meditate. The game wouldn't be complete without it.
Gil Scott-Heron is old and disheveled. His music is not as admirable as it was with the spirit of youth.
Plagiarism all over for instance in tracks 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 no credits were given
The opening live track is crazy, and the album goes onto these weird synphonic adventures, each one more disjointed than the one before. Closing with an uplifting cinematic track, the record leaves you with a sense of wonder.
An actually ass Beatles record, being honest. Sounds like a band losing steam very fast, with tumultuous filler like The Night Before, I Need You, Another Girl, You're Going to Lose That Girl, Act Naturally, It's Only Love, You Like Me Too Much, and more. I just named you half the album.
The earlier you go in Mac Miller's discography the shittier the material gets. I used to actively dislike the guy until he started making more soulful music.
Too bloated of a tracklist that has boomers convinced it's the greatest rock album ever made.
Floyd developing their sound further into progressive rock, but side B is old news, ending with an awkward song by no-longer-member Syd Barrett.
Side A surprise us with an interestingly eerie tracklist, that by the point it gets to Seamus, it begins to scare me.
Tracklist filled with just amazing songs. The band has not lost an ounce of inspiration, in fact their compositions only get more complex and impressive. The Rain Song is my favorite Zeppeling song after all these years.
Overrated as hell. Quite a mundane trap album that eventually gets good in the second half of 90210.
Classic jazz album, depending on which version you hear. The short 46-minute vinyl version is not bad.
