Despite overall being a better album (and overall sounding much better) this is still an album that's still really hard to stomach with a lot of songs that are insanely stupid and perhaps the record that flows the worst (The very ending is insulting).
Level Five is a great song though.
Shockingly awful that it makes THRAK sound like Red. Pretty much nothing redeeming on this album.
ProzaKc Blues and The World's My Oyster Soup are songs I prefer to not hear again.
Despite having a number of decent songs, THRAK is the start of their worst and the most out of touch era of the band for me, as this will rather range from boring to borderline terrible on a number of songs. It's hard to really talk about this record since the majority gives me nothing other than boring me, other than Sex Sleep Eat Drink Dream being one of the most unintentionally hilarious songs in their discography.

Larks Tongues in Aspic Pt 3 however is a great continuation of the previous parts and comes together ... read more
A nosedive in quality after the strong record before, Beat always felt like a D-tier Discipline with much weaker songwriting and musicianship that makes the whole record a shore to sit through. Neurotica however feels like the same sound that Black Midi would later pick up on decades later and Requiem is a surprising closer that wraps the record up nicely.
