the album doesn't offer a inventive take on indie and alt-rock and some of their subgenres, but it possesses charisma and humor enough to standout above so many others. love when they incorporate Spanish into their songs and how they play with their accents to emphasize the rock sound. 'Superstar' is an anthem. really solid album with a lot of replay value.
I wish I liked this more, it was a nice album all around but the soundscape was all over the place to me and it didn't fully feel like a cohesive piece of work. the pop rock sound was okay but there's one song, Realms, that kind of made me wish she delved into piano rock a bit more as her voice and the type of songwriting she's going for really suits the genre.
overall it's a debut album that shows a lot of promise.
