A great and surprising little EP. It gives a Windmill Scene album vibe in particular thanks to the eccentric and peculiar vocals and by the extreme progressivity of the instrumentation, with some krautrocky and entrancing parts in between, all seasoned with a great latin taste.

Day 9/23 of listening to every Jethro Tull album before going to see them live
One of Tull's best albums for sure. This album is a more dry and focused prog experience compared to the rest, songwriting is more pragmatic and direct with great jams and switchups while retaining and enhancing their beautiful lush folk atmosphere. As good as Aqualung, what lacks in possibly peak moments, gains in consistency and straightforwardness.

Day 8/23 of listening to every Jethro Tull before going to see them live
Ian going strong even at 78 years old, for sure not too old to rock and roll yet! Probably their safest and most conventional album up to now, a few great tracks along the way but most of them didn't leave an impression at all. Their worst album yet but that's not saying much, still a pretty good one!
Best Track: Too Old to Rock 'n' Roll: Too Young to Die

Day 8/23 of listening to every Jethro Tull before going to see them live
Their most consistent album in their discography up to this point, maybe not their most exciting or impressive but one that you want to listen front to back. The usual whimiscal and lush Tull composition is complemented by more psychedelic and hard rock sections reminiscing of the early albums, in particular Stand Up. Just below TAAB and Aqualung but comfortably their third best record so far.

Day 7/23 of listening to every Jethro Tull before going to see them live
A mixed bag of great unique prog songs and some more safe or uninteresting songs, once again a solid album by Jethro Tull but probably their weakest so far
Best Track: Bungle in the Jungle
Worst Track: Only Solitaire
