One of the best 60s albums. The most recognisable keys sound in all of history, especially with that intro on Soul Kitchen. Twentieth Century Fox and Light My Fire are absolute classics.

Tonight, Tonight, Zero, Bullet With Butterfly Wings, and 1979 were enough to make this a SMASH hit from the start, but that’s not even including some lesser talked about tracks from this album like Love, Cupid De Locke, Muzzle, In The Arms of Sleep, and Tales of a Scorched Earth. From grunginess to dreaminess, this is one of the purest forms of 90’s excellence.

This, Frances The Mute, and Deloused In The Comatorium should be enough to prove that Cedric is one of the best vocalists of all time, not even including his At The Drive-In performances and more.

This is my favourite album now, when I listen to it it gets even better like how is that even possible?

The second worst album I have ever heard.

Has some of the catchiest tracks out of any Swans album while retaining the genius songwriting we know and love about the other greats.

The snares don't sound so great but hearing these tracks that are a little rough around the edges feels like traveling through time, plus it has Jellikit on it which is on no full studio album which makes it more unique.
