this is one of my favorite albums of all time, mostly cause it's from my birth year... but honestly how she came in this era with the perfect disco & dance-pop album.
It has one of the greatest songs all time, it'll always have a special place in me.
being fr, there's a skip or something but the album covers all that up.

I know how talented RAYE is but she never fails to amaze me, the artisty, the theatrical aesthetics, the transitions all perfect.

listening to this album made me know why the old maddona fans are so supportive of her early work and can't let go of the 80s aesthetic, this was good.

I like disco & synth-pop a lot this is one of the first times i experienced it in an 80s album,it's really good.
the writing is cute too, my only issue is the length of the tracks it could've been shortened and it would've been better, maybe it was a common thing back then.
In conclusion a phenomenal debut

perfect synth-pop, the instrumentals of this album competes to be her best. her most honest lyricism, dropping something like that years after your peak is truly mind blowing... that's biased but it's also one of my fav albums of all time.
