sounds like he's doing an impression of himself without being in touch with what it is that makes much of his music so great. It sounds as if he decided he wanted to make an album called "Experimental Rap" and worked backwards from that instead of just making good music

criminally underrated but it's good to see this record slowly getting more attention

"BULLY" is kinda sad because there's glimpses of greatness here that prove my goat is still in there somewhere, however he can never quite make it through. you can tell jay knew he was a legend at the top of his game when he made this, and this is exactly what the black album sounds like
