This record changed the way I view a lot of other music in a way I'm not the most proud of.
Natural Snow Buildings are a French duo, and they made something here that is hard to categorize. Seven hours and twenty minutes across 18 tracks, and the word that keeps coming back is patience. I'm not usually one to hold Memphis rap to the highest degree of expectations or excellence, but I truly believe that Kemp has perfected the art of the genre in his 10 minute EP, UNEVEN COMPROMISE.
The project moves between two very different worlds and handles both of them with a level of care I really didn't expect.
