Not a bad start for for this post-grunge/alt rock outfit, as their first LP i think it's a pretty decent showing, it definitely has it's flaws, i find the start of the album just a bit slow and the energy is a bit of a throw off when you get to "Throw Yourself to the Sword" which is by far the strongest track on this project, but the energy for the remainder of the LP as well.

Microtonal Alien Lords Cometh!

Straight up, the first 3 tracks of this project are solid without question, since these have been available for some time (with Sarinezz being part of Angine's KEXP performance) I won't deep dive into them too much, though I actually prefer the live version of Sarinezz to the studio version, Fabienk is flawless microtonal funk and Mata Zyklek just a belter.

Initial thoughts, its Decent, couple of misses but overall I enjoyed the album, while Chester can't be replaced, being able to bring in a new vocalist and re-invent and produce a solid album is no easy task, many bands that have tried and failed but I think LP have done an alright job all things considered.

EDIT, 74 - 70 slight score reduction, mainly because a couple of the songs on this album haven't really felt the same after the initial album feeling, Heavy is the Crown and Two ... read more

Ok, I only came in on this battle with Euphoria, but consider me invested.
