After seeing this cover a long time ago, I was dead sure it’s gonna be some chill indie folk. I was pretty blown away by what it actually was.
This album has a sound I have never really heard anywhere else. It’s some great electronics mixed with pop and psychedelia in a very specific way. The vocals are maniac, screeching and kind of cute. The lyrics are edgy as fuck, but in a good japanese way. What’s most important, it was REALLY danceable. Holy shit, that was good.
"Grasa de las capitales" might be more original and mind-blowing, but, honestly, "Clics Modernos" is a better album.
Nearly every single song here is a classic. Its flow is great, especially in the second half, where the songs get progressively more depressing.
