genuinely the greatest cloud rap album of all time, ruben slikk was a genius.
Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comforted.
This album perfectly encapsulates the horror of living in america, especially as a black man. Parts made me shudder, I was utterly stunned by woods’ lyricism and his ability to frighten the average listener. It’s beautiful. This project should be taken more seriously than it is. If I could rate it a 200, I would. Woods twists the english language itself into his own liking, and makes the beats do what he wants. The album ... read more
Awesome. her voice is so damn beautiful, and every track is so very well written. the instrumentals are heavenly. it’s so unfortunate how dark grimes’ story got after dating elon, she’s genuinely so talented.
i liked this album when i was jit, but it grew off me heavy. in all honesty it’s fun but a lotta the bars seem soooo ingenuine and it’s honestly annoying. it’s FUN, sure. and it’s quite easy to listen to. and it has a cool idea. but it’s very flawed.
In all honesty? Pretty bad. It’s watered down boom-bap that acts like it has meaning. Soulless, and boring. If you really cared about progress, you wouldn’t put trans people down. We’re in this fight together, but you want to split us. smh. Even just ignoring the condrictions in his values, (which are present in the album, I’m not sayng this for no reason,) The “Boom Bap” beats and boring flows just seem to go on and on. An honest to god insult to hip hop ... read more
idk man this album really grew off me. mac demarco’s music feels fake, to say the least. a lack of REAL emotion. if i was a white 14 year old girl, maybe id think what he’s saying was beautiful and amazing. but i’m not. so im gonna be honest and say i don’t like this.
I like this album, all the lyrics feel super emotional and personal. I prefer some of damian’s other work, but this is good! queer black metal is always good in my book. :)
it’s fine, but all the lyrics creep me out lmfao. half of them are about little girls, PLUS whatshisface’s voice is pretty offputting. I just am NOT a fan.
I mean, it’s alright. Not their best album, it has a lack of soul to it that mastodon usually brings to the table. it had great potential, felt kinda wasted. maybe i just don’t like the vocals? the instrumentals were pretty good. overall, i don’t hate it at all, just not as good as their other stuff.
“Take a knife and drain your life!”
This album is sooooo good. It’s easily replayable, and every lyric feels personal. Bladee has always been a great artist, and this is definitely his magnum opus (even if it’s not my favorite.) It’s definitely an album everyone needs to listen to.
ima be so deadass this album is so fucking snoozefest i cannot believe i ever liked this. it’s boring, with a lack of soul, its band kid music. not a single good track.
The most beautiful jazz album i’ve ever heard. I cannot stress enough how amazing every single song is. The saxophone brings a cool and refreshing feel, every single drum brings warmth. I’m enchanted by this album.
A cool take on rage, i really fuck with his voice, and the beats are phenomenal. lots of repeat value, and it’s really fun.
honestly a really cool alhum with a lot of awesome breakdowns i enjoyed this. it’s a little too short, some songs seem to end out of nowhere, and the mixing could be quite a bit better. apart from that i don’t have many criticisms.
i love this it’s a perfect punk project that encompasses the problems with america and it just ages better with time. probably one of my favorite albums of all time (ik it’s a compilation shut up)
idk i’m not the biggest fan of denzel’s new stuff. it’s..ok. i think im being too nice about this tho😠it’s just not THAT nice to listen to, not even boring, it just doesn’t make me feel anything. pretty mid at the end of the day, but i wouldn’t consider it a bad album.
