I really wish I had listened to this when it had originally come out or even just last year, but whatever.
This album had exceeded my expectations by a fucking lot, and I like black midi, but this is honestly next level. The sound and mix is rich and the jazz/latin touch is incredible, damn near orgasmic sound with a touch of the quirky more avant quality which is what made black midi so unique in the first place. I must preface by saying that I listened on bandcamp, I listened to part I yesterday and finished part II today, so unfortunately I was not able to finish this album in one shot, which I sort of regret, although my brain was already going numb by the end of part I anyways so maybe it was for the best.

no album really has captivated me as much as this one. It's so intriguing and it was certainly not what i expected. It's so dark and ominous and while i hardly replay the whole thing I can't help but the just ponder the creation by this beast of a record. The Sound is also their best song by far. The vibes i got from this album were like no other.
