This is The Stroke's album that has grown a lot for me. When i first listened to this with the "i have to" mentality, so it wasn't nice. I came back to the album because i was bored and i totally forgot most of the songs and it was a nice choice! I don't like the opening track but then it's track that i totally love after track i surely love!

Come on, this LP is not as bad as people say and it has really grew over the years. "Call It Fate, Call It Karma" is totally different, but it is a solid ballad from the group, and Julian vocals in this song are just fantastic, really makes you feel in like the 30's or something.
I'm not a Lana Del Rey fan and this album didn't change my opinion at all, but it was nice to hear finally something good from her. Passable.
SHYGA! The Sunlight Mound is a nice album, not a "wow" tho, it didn't kill me. "Mango Terrarium" is amazing.
It works so nicely in the movie, it is the perfect soundtrack, not in real life tho.
Nostalgic, melancholic and for sometimes a time travel shenanigan. Love this record, it makes me earfquake.
It's so nice to hear this in 2021. I really enjoyed this album, "Instrumental" gave me this action movie vibes for some reason, "Sunglasses" is a masterpiece, followed by "Track X" another great song and the end with "Opus" is fantastic. The vocals, the sounds, everything is almost perfect.
As a post-punk fan, shames brings me joy with this LP. "Nigel Hitter", great song.
