Surprised people hate this honestly. I heard Gmaps through the Spotify dj and loved it. The singer does kinda sound like Geordie Greep but at the same time he doesn't, which is more clearer on the other songs (makes sense cos they were released months after Gmaps)
I do hope they expand their sound more so they can escape the black midi comparisons, cause that lyric in Algorithmic definitely didn't help lol. overall pretty good!

Yeah this is fine. nothing too mind-blowing but still enjoyable and a pretty good debut for them

loving this one. sounds more adjacent to Safe and Also No Fear/Birdie than their previous album, but has an added country twang to some songs which is good cause it's Jake Ewald. also excited to see them in Bristol again pretty soon!!

can't give it higher than this for now but I do love the second half of Pride and Fight, Forest Gospel, Tell It To the Mountain, and Pumpkin Gets a Snakebite a lot. the rest is pretty good.
this is basically the opposite of what most Jeff songs are like but i still love it. i was expecting more energy at the end cuz that's something he likes to do but a chill song is always welcome
after hearing this album in full live I can confidently say I love it, I don't get how you couldn't, it's just a fun album
they really made the 22 minute song the lead single, such a ballsy move but I love it and this song is overwhelmingly good fuckkkk
Not rating this but just so everyone's on the same page - this is not a full fledged studio album, it was just commissioned for a ballet performance
