Avenged Sevenfold - Avenged Sevenfold
78

'Almost Easy', 'Afterlife', and 'Dear God' are the songs that really make this album good. A little overdone in some parts, the album still provides us with a pleasant listening experience.

Gracie Abrams - The Secret of Us
86

The addition of more upbeat and catchy hooks on this album propel Abrams to new heights, while still keeping the soft, vulnerable side of her on display. The songwriting is exceptional and often overlooked by the average listener.

Lana Del Rey - Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd
86

Lana's most recent album is one that is beautifully written, well produced, and serves as her magnum opus of sorts, just behind her own 'Norman Fucking Rockwell!'.

Lana Del Rey - Norman Fucking Rockwell!
100

Lana has never sounded so beautiful. The production is lovely, her voice is soothing yet powerful, and the aesthetic is unmatched. It will always be crazy to me that this album didn't win Album Of The Year or at least any Grammy for that matter. This album cements her status as one of the most prolific and talented songwriters of the century. Truly an instant classic.

Billie Eilish - WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?
69

In her debut album, Billie Eilish showcases that she is going to be a force to be reckoned with, even if this album is pretty average overall. It is not a bad album, but is far from amazing.

Lady Gaga - Joanne
85

In a major switch from the nightclub to her piano, Gaga steps into a new sound flawlessly. She shows that she is in full control of her music, and that she has just put out her best body of work since 'The Fame Monster'.

Lady Gaga - The Fame Monster

Hit after hit, after hit, after hit, after hit. This extension to her debut album 'The Fame' serves as one of the greatest pop bibles of all time. Not to mention the greatest collab of all time, 'Telephone' featuring the Queen Bey. This is what established Gaga as one of the biggest stars of our generation, I was always hold this LP near and dear to my heart.

Lady Gaga - The Fame

An impressive debut album that has stood the test of time with her classic hits 'Just Dance' and 'Paparazzi'. It's production is other-worldly and her delivery is sensational on each and every track.

Olivia Rodrigo - GUTS
90

With 'GUTS' and 'GUTS (spilled)', Olivia avoids the sophomore slump effortlessly. She has finally found that signature sound of hers and is stepping into the pop-rock, and even a bit of pop-punk, scene. She has improved from her already amazing debut album, 'SOUR'. The sky is the limit.

Olivia Rodrigo - SOUR

'SOUR' is one of the best debut albums by an artist in recent memory. From the catchy pop hooks to the soul-shaking ballads, this album doesn't disappoint. Seeing such sophisticated songwriting this early in Olivia's career, just means she is destined for greatness.

Waterparks - FANDOM
40

This was the second album by Waterparks that I listened to, first after 'Double Dare'. Coming off of such a good album like that, I had high expectations for this album and was excited to listen. However, it falls short in almost every category. The autotune and voice changers, the odd album cover, nothing really did it for me. Pretty disappointing.

Waterparks - Double Dare
90

In what is their best and strongest album, 'Double Dare' stands out as an instant classic when it comes to more modern pop-punk. The addition of the synthesizers surprisingly works out very well for them, it adds a unique flare. It's youthful, fun, daring, and even a little cliche. What more could you want?

My Chemical Romance - Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys
82

I've never listened to an album that made me feel like I was reading a comic book, but 'Danger Days' gave that to me. In their most poppy / mainstream sounding album, MCR gives us yet another exceptional concept album. Though weak in some parts, this album is full of amazing songs that are adored by diehard fans and casual listeners alike.

My Chemical Romance - I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love
78

In their debut album My Chemical Romance definitely bursts into the pop-punk / emo scene in a well-executed record. Which was written since Gerard Way witnessed the 9/11 attacks. Though nowhere near their peak they would go on to reach with 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge' and 'The Black Parade', this album still holds up on its own two feet. Not to mention it has one of my favorite songs of theirs, 'Early Sunsets Over Monroeville'.

My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge

Any album that opens up with something like a compelling performance of 'Helena', is an album destined to be fantastic. Not only does it have an amazing concept and storyline, but it is also a cohesive body of work that alternates between pop-punk and a more edgy emo sound.

My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade
100

This album is truly one of the best bodies of work to ever exist. From the compelling concept of "The Patient" and their journey through death, to it's masterful songwriting, and it's outstanding production, 'The Black Parade' is an album that will stand the test of time. Easily the greatest pop-punk album of all time, and the album of my lifetime.

Bryan Adams - Reckless
90

Sorry not sorry, but this is one of the greatest albums released in the 80's. Adams shines through as a songwriter throughout this record, not to mention his timeless hits 'Heaven' and 'Summer of 69' that still get referenced 40 years later. His forceful, yet somewhat seductive voice pulls the audience in with his moving melodies and youthful aesthetic.

Harry Styles - Harry's House
81

'Harry's House' is a funky little album that on the surface seems pretty upbeat and fun on the surface, that is until you actually *listen* to the music. Though his weakest album thus far, HS3 still pulls its own weight. What really makes the album for me are the songs 'Matilda', 'As It Was', and 'Boyfriends'. Those are truly some of his best works yet.

Harry Styles - Fine Line
83

'Fine Line' is easily the best album put out by any member of One Direction, even if it is so close to tying his self-titled debut album. The songwriting and production on this album is refreshing and unique for a male popstar. I still think he is trying to find himself as an artist and that the sky is the limit for him.

Harry Styles - Harry Styles
82

In his solo-debut, Harry Styles pulls on our heart strings with music that just makes you feel something. He does an excellent job of using classic rock influences and morphing them into something more modern and up to date.
