Once in a lifetime album
This truly is a behemoth of an album, it’s brutal, unforgiving and hard to listen to but terribly worth it.
Most tracks on the album follow a similar but also drastically different structure as a throughout the track a buildup of incredibly crafted melodies and walls of sound reach a conclusion of an amalgamation of noise (In the best way possible). I’m not sure how an album can sound so angry but at the same time coherent and amazing.
Sick basslines too, i love it
On my first listen, it didn't click and I did not enjoy it at all, but now it has completely become one of my favourite albums of all time. Completely changed the way I hear music
Its unpredictable, entrancing, spiritual, and it is what I would consider to be Swans' magnum opus. Truly incredible soundscapes and phenomenal instrumentals, I cant think of anything that I would want changed about this album. fire
My anticipation for this album definitely was for a good reason
