I was really not expecting much from this album, but I am pleasantly surprised by how good it is. Although it isn't the greatest, it is still a solid album, but I do wish the singing could be better; but that is a lot to ask from the drummer.
An amazing record that is excellently produced, and every song is a banger. At no point in the album do I want to turn it off; it is the perfect length with some great catchy tunes throughout.
This album truly shows the Beach Boys take on psychedelia amazingly. It maintains their iconic sound but strays away from other albums like Pet Sounds. There experementation pays off with beautiful music that takes on more themes than just happiness.
This is a well-produced and amazing-sounding album. It perfectly meshes ELO's sound with some amazing disco tracks that make a fun album that I will no doubt be blasting in my car.
