My favorite hip-hop album ever. DOOM's lyrics are so deeply rooted in social commentary, infectious rhyming, and a slight undertone of humor that I can't help but quote them all the time whenever I hear the album. Madlib's production is incredibly minimalistic and experimental, with sometimes off-putting or beautiful samples on songs like Accordion or Rhinestone Cowboy. Mix those together, and you get one of the most creative albums ever made.
Wow, I might prefer this over The Glow, pt. 2. It's super epic in a way but it's also got that signature Microphones sound that's kind of hard to describe. Honestly, I don't have much to say about this, so I'll probably just put my favorite parts of each song...
