The Geordie Greep influence is crazy.

It's so hard to appreciate what Justice was doing after Cross. Cross is a generational album that will be remembered for years as one of the best house and electronic albums ever. Amazing sound and instrumentation throughout basically the whole record but sometimes vocals can get annoying.

Lacks so much passion and energy that made Cross so enjoyable.

This is completely the anti-style of modern music. I mean this shit came out in 2005, where the most popular albums are Late Registration and Demon Days. The Avalanches accidentally fell into the most common musical trap of all time. Great mix of genres here. Good rock basis and a lot of pop, noise, and even shoegaze elements thrown in. Fantastic mellow vocals as well.

Jay Mascus is easily one of the greatest guitar players ever. Great album, almost as good as YLAOM. I have no clue why they decided to make “Don’t” tho. That song sucks.

Very conflicted on this rating because assigning this a rating defeats its purpose. It’s an expierence, and barely even constitutes as an album. But genuinely incredible. That silvery progression(No idea what instrument it is) that you hear throughout all 9 movements adds so much. My friend called this the "Mario Party 2 of albums." I have no idea what this means, or how it relates to Mario Party. But, all I know is that this is a significant step up from "Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables."

Production is out of this world but it feels impossible to listen to these songs as Daveeds rapping constantly reminds me of Hamilton.
