Isaiah Rashad’s Same Shit is not trying to grab you — and that’s exactly why it matters.
On the surface, it feels understated to the point of being uneventful. Almost like an “average” Isaiah Rashad song with all its edges smoothed out. But that reading misses the point entirely.
