I'm gonna be honest, i haven't listened to any of this band stuff prior to this album and i'm currently asking myself why. This records instrumentals are so beautiful, yet haunting and the vocals only contribute to that for most of the album. The band takes a pretty unique approach on atmospheric black metal by not shying away from fusing other genres, such as trash metal and avant garde music and manages to create a really particular vibe. This album feels like reading somebodys diary
You can't tell me that this guy isn't Thundercat
This album was such a fun listen. Tho there are songs on this record that have obvious flaws, Ashnikko manages to put so much personality in these songs, that most of them stick out in some way. Some highlights are the opener Daisy, that contains tons of charasmatic lines, the catch Toxic and the hilarious l8r boy. My biggest problem with this album however are Ahinikko's vocal performances on many songs that borderline on being annoying at points.
