Thought this was gonna be shit, turned out to be boring af with 2 or 3 ok songs. the lows on this album being absolute shit while the rest being mediocrity. Lyrically speaking it's fine? Ig kid Cudi's voice dosent do it justice tho.
This rating includes Junglepussy's verses on "Y'all Can't Stand Right Here" and "Empire BLVD" and the track "doves"
Fakemink perhaps top 20 British people??
Really enjoyed it. Haven't heard of fakemink up untill this week and really enjoying his music.
Sister Ray carried this album HARD but still did enjoy some of songs. (how tf did they make this in the 60's?????)
I had no expectations going into this and came out amazed.
Very underrated and the last half of this album is amazing.
Favourite songs: Can't You tell I'm a Sociopath, Eat Rich, Colonize the Moon
First opeth album and while it's good I think I'll have to give the band time to grow on me.
Favourite track: Moonlapse Vertigo
It starts out with "with am I listening to" but then turns into a nothing burger at the end for the first half. The second half of the other had 2 or 3 songs I really like but noting really much to say on this.
Favourite song: rest aria
Fuck Alexis Marshall.
Gets very repetitive after a while but isn't that bad
(why is this a 52?)
9 almost perfect songs that go really well and don't feel like 50 minutes
(+2 points for helping me endure a long ass car ride)
Listened to this while in a long ass drive and it me helped endure it. 👍
Second time listening to Neurosis (skipped there second albums) and first time listening to atmospheric sludge.
This feels both aggressive and calm at the same time and I love it.
First time listening this genre and I have to say it's good but not better then regular sludge metal for me but time will tell.
I had a out of body meditative experience while listening to this which no other ep/album has given, I thought about my past, my future and all everyone I will and will not miss out on, Futures I'll experience and i those will not and friends form the past who I'll never talk to.
I don't have the will to make a longer review so I'll just leave this here.
