the more i come back to this album, the more i realize how genius it is
drake: kendrick lamar more like kendrick lame-ar, kdot more like k-not!
kendrick: you are a pedophile predator deadbeat and your children will grow to hate you and your family hate you and your team hate you just kill yourself at this point you aint got nothing to live for
admito que dillom haciendo uno de mis albumes favoritos del año no era algo que me veía venir.
i hate when people say you shouldn't rate projects in spanish if you don't speak the language, but goddamn the lyricism and storytelling in this album is so fucking top tier that not knowing the language really does take a lot from the experience.
i was already familiar with dillom, as he is a pretty prominent figure in argentina's hip hop scene (and a pretty respected one at that), ... read more
"ready for your soty lessons?"
doves gulped
snow as a metaphor for death started sweating
bending hectic couldnt sit still
"yes, oppy day" they all said in unison
it took this man ripping his dick off and talking to thom yorke to feed the fucking chickens
yeezus is an amazing album in itself, but this is genuinely a masterpiece.
its a much more unique and rich experience, from the abrasiveness of on sight and i am not home, to the softer moments like cant get over me and one i love.
my tracklist for this album was:
-i am not home
-on sight
-black skinhead
-i am a god
-wow!
-new slaves
-why feel bad?
-hold my liquor
-talk to me
-guilt trip
-awesome
-cant get over me
-good things dont last
-one i love
-nobody to love
i was not familiar with your game mr squarepusher.
feed me weird things is a strange yet mindblowing album from start to finish, its everything i like about dnb and even more.
this albums ability to remain consistently amazing is insanely remarkable, including the two extra tracks in the streaming version, which are just as amazing.
oh also, squarepusher theme is one of the best openers ever made, and probably my favorite dnb song.
holy fucking shit. this song is genuinely so fucking bad its kinda good?
agus realmente consiguio que hi-c rapeara en un beat de cumbia que genio
this album really has some great highs, like the last track for an example, but there arent many other highlights other than that.
score might change eventually though i really want to get into this
my goat archy poo krule just never misses 🥹
jokes aside, mount kimbie and king krule are a killer combination of artists, that have also made some great songs in the past like blue train lines, and i am happy that this is more proof of how good this duo of artists is.
the only way of listening to this, is listening to it at 3 AM, while on a road trip, looking out the window to see nothing but pitch-plack and the road beneath you illuminated by the headlights.
this album *does* go overboard with the experimentation sometimes, like for example, on the track "tones of ponder", where the beat is genuinely so quiet, that its almost an acapella of a half asleep guy mumbling.
BUT i still think this is probably the most mesmerizing album ive ever heard, ... read more
in some ways, i think this is idles' moon shaped pool of some sorts; it is easily their softest and debatably most beautiful album yet, they experiment with a lot of new sounds that in my opinion make up for a much more mature sound, and of course yknow strings bitch!!!!!!!!
not to say this album is ALL soft, there are some crazy tracks here, but still not as in-your-face as previous efforts like JAAAOR
even though this may not be my favourite kind of idles (still amazingly good), and even ... read more
