run-dmc does nu-metal and tries to copy jay-z, and only one of the members wants to rap anything. the results are predictable, but there's a couple tracks which are solid
an album based off of a book series by l. ron hubbard, the founder of scientology. against all odds, it's actually a pretty decent '80s mainstream synth-pop project. if you don't think about the man behind the source material (thankfully, the lyrics don't really mention scientology itself, which makes this easier), it's a decently enjoyable listen. it completely fails as a tie-in album, but more or less succeeds as a nerdy and progged-out take on synth-pop from ... read more

a$ap rocky and j cole just dropped amazing albums. mitski, baby keem, bruno mars, charli xcx, and femtanyl are all gonna drop within like 2 weeks of each other. it’s been 2 months and this has already been a better year for music than 2025
good attempt at being experimental, joji! next time, try making the average song length longer than 2 minutes!
