A$AP Rocky - Don't Be Dumb
90

for the entire duration of a$ap rocky's career, i always though of him as someone who is able to make really great songs but unable to make a truly great album with little to no filler.

on this release, he proved me wrong.

Rihanna - ANTI
50

rihanna's better at singles, beyoncé's better at albums

Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
80

i definitely need a couple more years with this one

Nirvana - In Utero
80

i didn't get it until i listened to "the bends" by radiohead

Kevin Abstract - ARIZONA BABY
80

this is so gay. whoever likes this is gay

BROCKHAMPTON - SATURATION
90

this album (and this trilogy) sounds unlike anything i've ever heard. it's too bad that brockhampton would end up making albums that sound too much like songs/albums/artists that i'd rather be listening to

BROCKHAMPTON - PUPPY (2018)
60

before this unreleased project leaked, i was under the impression that, if it was released, it would've continued brockhampton's saturation-era winning streak.
however, based on what i'm hearing, i have a feeling that the finished version would've been very similar to iridescence, which was decent but not resilient enough to keep together a fanbase that extended beyond the die-hards.

Bob Dylan - Infidels
50

"union sundown" aged well, at least

Lou Reed - Metal Machine Music | *the Amine β Ring
60

gave me a headache. that doesn't mean i don't like it tho

Queen - A Night at the Opera
90

i forgot that this album is burned into my memory, but it is, apparently

Danny Brown - Stardust
60

not gay enough and not danny brown enough

JPEGMAFIA - SCARING THE HOES: DIRECTOR'S CUT
NR

i wish i wanted to listen to this, but i'm still not over the kanye stuff

Young Thug - UY SCUTI
20

thugger managed to make a 20-song album with 1 good song on it

Tame Impala - Deadbeat
60

not even that bad, but it's my instinct to call it a flop because the singles were so fucking baller

OutKast - Speakerboxxx/The Love Below
90

i see key & peele's point

C’est la key - Superflat
80

how am i even supposed to rate this

Lil B - On the Westside
NR

i think this accidentally got uploaded to the wrong lil b's account. this might be the best thing i've ever heard accidentally uploaded to a famous artist's spotify tho

Ken Carson - More Chaos
30

he’s boring again

Destroy Lonely - </3³
30

consistently great transitions, occasionally good beats, and consistently bad vocals

favs: party n get high, ain't hard
least favs: leave u out 2 dry

"revolution 9 isn't looked at as a failed experiment tho. it brought many people's attention to avant-guarde sounds & it's a big reason why avant-guarde music influenced so many artists and bands. if the beatles never made musique concrete, the caretaker either wouldn't be as weird or wouldn't be as popular also i find it hard to see how you can listen to smthn like "copyright strike my fucking nuts" and think it's taking itself seriously lmao"
