that one is my favorite album from my favorite artist, so it holds an extreme significance in my life. its also pretty nostalgic, as it was the first mitski era i was able to experience as it was happening. of course it is my own interpretation and analysis of each one of them, but i think it has some correlation with the original meanings of the songs lmao

i really enjoyed in my hands and revenge. do i find it to be an amazing record? hell no, i do not. i think it is one of their weakest, in fact. hit 'em is rl corny to me, ddi ro ri is fine, favorite song is kinda outdated. they can do muuuuch better. 6/10

it is a mixed bag for me.
there were tracks that i deeply enjoy, such as padam padam, hands, vegas high and tension, but at the same time there were a couple of middle of the road tracks, with the worst of them all being 10 out of 10. i just cant leave the impression that this sounds like a song produced for drag race and it throws me off so bad.
overall a 7/10

this genre just fits her like a glove. it is truly one of her best albums of all time and i hope she tries to replicate the vibe with some of her future projects. songs like i love it, where does the dj go? and miss a thing make me want to groove.
from the cons of that album, i can surely say that the deluxe tracks were kinda on the weaker side, leaving not much of an impression on me.

i dont know who told her that its a good idea to make a country album, but please may it never repeat in the future... i found it to be just incredibely soulless, and although it may be just that country isnt my cup of tea (which it absolutely isnt), i think it lacks substance in many ways. some songs were tragic, some were bearable with lost without you being the best of them. 5/10

honestly i think it is overhated and far stronger than people make it out to be. the only true weaker song is beautiful, but even that is not so bad. i was enamored by likes of i was gonna cancel, fine, sexercize. it is truly chasing the trends of 2014, but it still just clicks with me! 7.5/10
