Lowkey, this may be my favorite James Blake project ever. I'll have to let it marinate some more before saying that definitively. I appreciate him not giving in to the pressure to pivot back to pop-rap for higher numbers. However, this project still leaves a lot to be desired. Most of the songs are slight variations of each other, the best being easily "All of My Friends". I hope Jack continues making whatever music he wants and stumbles upon something that truly makes him stand out as an artist.
