As someone who loves Pray for Paris, this album is an incredible downgrade of a sequel, i mean what even is this. Westside Gunn sounds so out of place on almost all of the trap instrumentals & on some of the tracks his vocals are mixed horribly, like what even is the track "JD Wrist". This is just a complete mess with a small amount of enjoyable aspects, & yes a 45 is generous.
Wow, an actually enjoyable griselda project, it seems like we don't get many of those nowadays. Good job Benny for bringing my love for griselda back because this record is pretty nice. There is some interesting feature choices that make no sense & sound awful, while there is also some questionable mixing on some songs (the Westside Gunn hook on Griselda Express) but other than that its a nice record.
what the hell even is this, like honestly this has rarely any redeeming qualities.
Pretty good solo project from Killer Mike here, its a little bit of a mixed bag but more positive than negative. Some combinations don't work to well on this while some work incredibly well. Still, it's an enjoyable project.
Its not too bad, needs just a lil work but I like it for what it is.
Okay, were getting there. The production has definetely leveled up big time & their is much less "singing" on this project than the last one which sounds so much better. It's the same for all these underground rappers though, they need to do something more to stand out & this sounds too similar to a few projects I could think of.
First time listening to Mitski & this album is very nice. Incredibly soothing instrumentals & excellent vocals what more could you ask for.
Dudes got some real potential. He's got to go more experimental, more Kiss N Tell's, thats the shit I want. That song is incredible, as well as a few highlights throughout the album but it gets repetive sometimes. Almost there.
EDIT: I decided to give this project another shot and to my surprise it grew on me heavily, great underground lp.
Randomly decided to listen to this after only hearing Depression Cherry only to find out this also slaps.
The first album of his I'm actually rating but I've listened to all his other projects. Look, he makes good music, just not the best albums. The versatility on here is surprisingly impressive yet the final product is lackluster.
