this might be my most controversial rating ever. i just was not feeling this & the amount of times ive gone back to this album is insane but it still ends up the same way. its too much of a mixed bag & some of the songs are just way too long & Young Thug's vocal inflections sounded so off in them to the point where it became an annoyance. i really wished i liked this album more but i guess this ones just not for me.
imo this isn't as bad as people make it seem it is. its definitely worse than "Long Term Effects Of Suffering" but its still got some bangers.
This slaps. When I listened to "Let The Sun Talk" I was really underwhelmed & I thought this project would be the same but no. Granted there are a few misses but its an 18 song LP, so all things considered this is a huge step up.
The potential is there. They just need an ever better record to capitalize on what they can do.
I bought the vinyl for this for super cheap not even remembering how mid this album was. It's got a few slappers but not enough to redeem it.
I don' think anyone wants to listen to a 23 track Lil Baby album. Imo Lil Baby is a really good one track artist, but he can't drop a full, strong release to save his life. It's still got some bangers though.
This is my favorite durk album, granted not every song hits, but the one's that do hit hard & have insane replay value.
A solid project with a big roster of artists & producers that work incredibly well with each other.
Edit: 80>65 Yeah this ain't as good as i remember but it still ain't bad.
I don't know about this. King Vons first posthumous release is not great, but not unlistenable.
