songs sound pretty good live so solid stuff
Some standouts for sure (Tides, Too Drunk to Karaoke, Rue de la Guitare, etc.) but besides those its one of Buffett's more forgettable albums.
Be Quiet is an amazing song and a standout in their catalogue, but the two live tracks, while bringing great energy, aren't really for me personally.
Aged like absolute milk and is objectively a bad song, but its kind of a banger in an ironic sense
I decided to go back and listen to a bunch of old meme rap artists from back in the day, and realized MC Virgins released a new album. Out of pure curiosity, I went to check it out and wow, they reformed themselves so well. The beats are still great and the lyrics aren't as provocative, which is both a pro & a con. Some bangers on here. But it kinda felt one noted most of the time. I love Crue a lot but this wasn't it.
Favorite Tracks: Smokin' In The Boys Room, Home Sweet Home, Use It or Lose It
Love the atmosphere presented here but it felt lacking lyrically. But I do think this is a great showcase of what The Weeknd would become production-wise.
Some great versions of older tracks but a lot of these recordings felt watered down, ESPECIALLY I Can Change.
If I could describe the word 'Badass' in one album, this would be the one.
