Jean-Michel Jarre - Zoolook

The work Jean-Michel Jarre has done to make this album is TOO DAMN HIGH.
He spent hours on ethnological works and researchs, studied them and discussed with professors and doctors that are specialists in the studying of the different species.
He recorded hundreds of voices in almost of the languages and dialects that exist on planet Earth. Mixed them with amazing bass lines, drums and electronic sounds to make this brillant experimental piece of music. You might be surprised at many times ... read more
Jean-Michel Jarre - Rendez-Vous

Why did I give a perfect score? You could ask.
Well, no need to say Jean-Michel Jarre is one of the first musicians who invented electronic music (with Vangelis or Giorgio Moroder, for examples) and deserves it on at least a few albums.

First of all : True masterpiece.
This punk rock opera marks a turn in the history of the music that was made to criticise the american supremacy of our modern world. In between troubled characters, it describes us a dramatic vision of the american society.

Please play this whole shit at my funeral. Seriously.
Archive - Controlling Crowds

Nothing much to say about this album except a word : Eargasm.
As Pink Floyd used to do in the 70's, Archive brought us a progressive jewel. Perfect from Part I to IV (this last part is on another album released a few months after). It has deep music and deep lyrics, talking about the massive control of minds that occurs nowadays, as its title says.
One thing is for sure : this album will make you think.
