5 years old

finally, some good fucking food.

Trip-Hop is something I have little experience in, with one 1 album I have looked at, as far as I'm aware, I don't really know what the genre is. But this was honestly really damn good. Production on here was really good, kinda reminds me of Give Up mixed with War Stories. I also really love the lyrics on here, the themes of corporatism, capitalism, depression and technology. 12 year old me loved this because I thought it was awesome and went hard.

17 year old me loves this because I think it's the pinnacle of 2010s cliché and musical camp.

My level of enjoyment remains the same :)

Nothing much to say about this album except a word : Eargasm.
As Pink Floyd used to do in the 70's, Archive brought us a progressive jewel. Perfect from Part I to IV (this last part is on another album released a few months after). It has deep music and deep lyrics, talking about the massive control of minds that occurs nowadays, as its title says.
One thing is for sure : this album will make you think.

Easily the most diverse Trip Hop album there is, mostly because it often abandones the stereotypical sound of the genre. I think the intro/title track is not only the best song but also perfect way to open an LP this unique. There are few standouts like "Bullets" or "Collapse/Collide" but I would say that the greatest strenght of the album is expierience as a whole. Diverse styles, changing mood, consistent quality.

Overall this is just an amazing album and a sure must hear ... read more

A more modern sound, some gems, notably "Bullets," and the usual rock-oriented sections give way to rap-influenced passages (Bastardized Ink, Razed to the Ground).

It's a bit innovative, and not bad at all.

E' coworker music? No, vabbè che erano sotto la Warner, ma sono riusciti comunque a fare un disco molto ... read more
