mercilessly heavy. very sharp and precise, model notes does an excellent job extracting power from this sound. the samples only work for me 2/3 of the time but they aren't the main focus here. as an ep, it all flows exceptionally well without ever really getting stale.
consistently well-produced, but it's too safe and doesn't live up to the hype. most tracks feel underpowered, samey, or both. justify and hit the ground are my favourites.
it's nice in the background, pretty good music but it just doesn't do anything new and there aren't really any standout tracks either
pretty chill and good, soulful lyrics. not my genre but i enjoyed it
new longest album unlocked
and what's impressive is how consistently good it is, there's not a single bad track. that being said there's a ton of variety and surely (several) something(s) for every edm fan here. it's united by hardcore, but there's probably more edm subgenres than tracks! combine that with the fast pace and it's sensory overload in a good way.
proof that no matter how lacklustre your instrumentals are, you can always ruin a song more with bad vocals.
i came here because of the legendary hexo review, but i tried to review this seriously
overall, this album is entirely unstructured, random genres of edm are thrown at you and the only unifying factors are the bad lyrics, poor singing, misogyny, and the tuneless, generic, and confused instrumentals. the worst tracks are what define it because the rest is unmemorable.

this is a super unique album to me, definitely impressed. i love the storytelling, this is what albums should be. it all fits seamlessly and it's so immersive. i also enjoy the mixture of different styles of music both instrumentally and vocally.
slotface - film buff
different energy to the other album i'be heard from them, sorry for the late reply, although that one was more interesting this one seems more generic. reminds me of a cross between paramore and k. flay.
it's punchy and high-energy, i can enjoy it. i like the vocals, and the lyrics are clever at times, although not always. some tracks are quite catchy.
the structure of each track is really similar, and they seem a bit undercooked and short, perhaps for the radio? ... read more
interesting, pleasant, good lyrics. potential to grow on me for sure.
edit: yeah it grew on me. black eye, you slept on me, saddest smile, and weird world are my favs. it's a little hit and miss but overall enjoyable project
it's fine but doesn't do much. the ukrainian vocals are pretty good (although the english lyrics are uninspired). instrumentally it feels like the first two tracks are stubs, and there's not much of a climax even in resistance.
it's... fine? overrated, but not terrible. brings very little new to the table, and a little mishmashed, but it's full of bangers of a consistent quality.
