Jpeg had easily the best album run of any modern artist from Veteran, AMHAC, LP!, Scaring the Hoes & ILDMLFY which I consider all to be easily 98+/100, so I had pretty high expectations for this album.
But it just didn't pull me in the same way that the others did. While I like the production a lot, the writing & flow was way too similar from track to track, and the first half of the album started to drag for me.

This shiz is actually a banger and a half.
It didnt really work too much on a first listen (still liked it more than I disliked it) but because I loved some of his other work I decided to give it another shot and it clicked.
Soooooo grooovy
Aside from from small production things I really dislike (sometimes things would be only in the right ear like the final song) This was unironically a great experience and felt super nostalgic with some ideas ahead of their time.
This was an incredibly simple concept pushed to the absolute maximum, and while I wouldn't recommend this to everyone I think it's a really cool experience for those that are interested in the genre.
I understand most people might like his other albums more. They're great, but I think this was the best work Billy Woods has done. It blends a perfect line between storytelling and hard hitting writing, performance and production in a way that only he and Kenny could accomplish.
