After years of actively ruining his creative and cultural legacy, Ye’s moderately successful return to form on BULLY is something I never thought I’d get to witness.
In general, I consider myself to be relatively new to rap music, only really getting into it in 2021. Ye was the artist who fully sold me on the genre, and I became obsessed with his insane run of albums all the way up until Donda (which was his most recent album at the time). Getting into his music right around the ... read more
Amazing collection of ambient tracks here, the overall aesthetic and vibe of Vanisher is one of my favorite aspects of that project and these songs encapsulate that perfectly.
The first track, Finale (ironically), is prolly my least favorite of the bunch, but it's still a really nice track. It just doesn't really do anything additional for me aside from being a relaxing, pretty ambient piece, but it still works great, especially as a moment to breathe after Casper (if you're ... read more
I've heard enough, this man may just be a genius
Cameron Winter and Geese are names that I’ve been familiar with for a while now, but hadn’t decided to tap into for whatever reason. I’ve since listened to some of Geese’s material, and while I like some of their songs a lot, their general sound isn’t entirely up my alley. This album absolutely is, however, and I’m mad it took me this long to finally give it a listen. Most songs on this project follow a ... read more
Against all adz, Sufjan Stevens is NOT fucking around with this one‼️
Going into this album, the only song I was familiar with was the opening track, Futile Devices. To say that this song didn’t give an accurate impression of Age of Adz as a whole is an understatement; this album is pretty wild especially considering Sufjan’s relatively conventional folk roots he was primarily known for at the time.
This album definitely doesn’t compare in quality to my personal ... read more

Incredible pair of folk songs, I love the classic Americana vibe both of these tracks have. The string arrangements on Vines are so beautiful, that song might be the best thing I’ve heard from Cameron Winter
The Mocking Stars is a generational album and is a very strong contender for my aoty. Lausse was clearly having a lot of fun making this song but respectfully this is not it
Definitely a buzzer beater for my EP of the year, Jane's 2025 run has been pretty unmatched
While this is nowhere near Jane Remover's most mind-blowing or eclectic project, this collection of songs is easily one of the catchiest and most enjoyable bodies of work she has ever released.
While I had heard most of these songs when they first released as singles, I didn't find myself returning to most of them for whatever reason (with the exception of Magic I Want U). A large reason ... read more
Fuck it, my favorite rap album of the decade is a theatrical jazz-infused concept album from the perspective of a depressed British cat
Jokes aside, this album blew me away. I went in with no knowledge of who Lausse the Cat was, and I was absolutely not expecting to find one of the most whimsical, atmospheric, and original hip-hop projects in recent memory.
Conceptually, I have no idea how The Mocking Stars even remotely works. Writing from the perspective of a cartoonish cat, complete with a ... read more
Not the most grandiose or ambitious song on Disintegration, but it’s my personal favorite by far.
One of the most hauntingly beautiful love songs ever made, it feels so melancholic and bittersweet despite the relatively straightforward lyrical content. Also this is probably my favorite vocal performance I’ve heard from Robert Smith, his delivery on this song is so immensely emotional and every word he says hits so hard. It’s made even more effective with the knowledge that he ... read more
Incredible song, this is the first song by The Cure that I really fell in love with
Ngl tho it is kinda just a slightly less effective version of Just Like Heaven but that doesn’t make me love it any less, still up there as one of my favorites by them
What are we doing with this runtime bro
Ngl the short length worked decently for Pixelated Kisses, but this just feels like a fragment of a complete song. Still a super pretty little song, which only makes me wish more than it was more fully realized
Insane, I’m not tapped into Rosalía but I’m super hyped for this album now from this one song alone
Extremely fun song, underscores went off on the hook and production and it’s clear that Danny’s having a ton of fun rapping over these beats, really hyped for this album
Incredible little project, Good Morning Texts is one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard
Rest in peace
This is really really good, such a fire gritty beat that contrasts in a cool way with Joji’s moody vocals. Could definitely be more fleshed out tho, feels too short
